LHT Restaurants Sdn Bhd open its first Lao Huo Tang restaurant in Plaza Gurney, Penang on 18 May 2019.
Established in 2008 in Hawker Centre, Lao Huo Tang serves traditional Chinese soups that are gentle tonics made from fresh vegetables, lean meat or pork ribs and flavoured only by natural ingredients – making the soups naturally low fat, low calorie and low sodium. One distinguishing point about traditional Chinese soups are that oil, cream and butter are never used!
Due to space constraint in the Hawker Centre, which limited our creativity in providing more traditional dishes, Lao Huo Tang ventured into the restaurant business in 2011 with the main objective of bringing more nourishing Cantonese style soups and home fashion cook food to its customers. Today, Lao Huo Tang Restaurants are well-known for its nourishing Cantonese-style soups and traditional home cook cuisines. With many customers that trusted our brand and quality of food at an affordable price, we will continue to create more nourishing soup at an affordable price and endeavour to bring more restaurants closer to all our customers.

Why did the user select the IRC product?
The customer select the Casio V-R7000BD Android Pos system because of it stability, as they already use this model in 10 of their existing in Singapore.
Our specific proposals to the customer
To introduce a 1 Cashier and 1 Order terminal with 2 receipt printers and with networking to a 16 port Ethernet switch to push kitchen order to 4 units of UP-400 high speed kitchen printers to Bar Counter, Main Kitchen, Soup Kitchen and Rice Cooker area. The normal flow of the customer are as follows:
1.) Customers walk into Restaurant, Captain get a table and customers be seated.
2.) Captain provide the customers with menu on their table, take down soups, ala carte and beverage orders.
3.) Waiter head to V-R70000 Order Terminal, and login in with their Dallas Key, and ‘touch the customer orders’.
4.) Before finalizing the order, the waiter double check’ the order and the ‘pull out’ the Dallas key to the V-R will send the orders to Master server and kitchen printers (KP).
5.) Famous soup menu like Pork Rib with Apple & Snow Pear Soup, Lotus Root Soup with Peanut, Mummy’s ABC Soup and other famous soups will be printed in the Soup Kitchen kitchen printer.
6.) Drink Counter KP prints the order and quickly prepare the beverage like their delicious ‘Honey Lemon with Aloe Vera’ Hot Green Tea and others beverage.
7.) Ala Carte menu like Deep Fried Prawn Roll, Crispy Cereal Prawn, Hotpot Pandan Chicken will be print in Main Kitchen kitchen printer.
8.) Waiter take the ‘barcode table tracking bill’ and place it on the clip board holder on the customer table.
9.) Mean time customer can continue to place additional food and beverage items and all will be stored into this table account.
10.) Last customer after having a wonderful meal, decided to leave and took the barcode code table account bill to the check out cashier.
11.) Main Cashier just check out one by one of the customers queuing up in a busy line, by just scanning the barcode on the receipt without asking any questions.
12.) Customer happily paid up the bill without and questions and the ‘itemized bill was comprehensive and easy to understand’ and exit
